Travelling With Your Ferret

Ensure that you use a suitable carrier, either a purpose made ferret box or a secure cat basket. Equip the carrier with suitable bedding material.
If you are travelling some distance you will need frequent and regular stops to allow your ferret time out of the carrier in a secure area for exercise, food and drink.
If you intend to take your ferret abroad you will require a pet passport. Your veterinary surgeon will be able to provide you with information on the legal requirements
